There is a long exposures (1/15 of a second to hours) which is great for capturing light, medium shutter speed (about a minute) which is used for capturing night scenes, or short shutter speeds (1/20 of a seconds to several seconds) which is used in high light situations and captures moving objects clearly.
2. How does the use of a neutral density filter change the way the photograph looks?
A neutral density filter is a tinted filter to help minimize the amount of light in your photo when shooting during the day.

Panning is when you use the camera to follow your subject as you are taking a picture. It is the reverse of a blur picture: the background is blurry and subject is more clear and in focus. This is also taken on a low shutter speed. |
